De Luxe TEPLOSHOV warm masonry mixture is designed for laying walls and partitions of foam and aerocrete blocks, different types of porous ceramic blocks and bricks, heat-insulating blocks made with porous material (claydite, perlite, expanded glass, pumice) for construction of buildings of various purposes.

Building walls in private and multi-storey construction with the help of cellular concrete and ceramic blocks is due to the ease of working with them and high thermal insulation qualities of the laying elements. Warm masonry mixtures are used to work with such materials in modern construction.

Why should you use these mixtures for masonry? Ceramic blocks have a coefficient of heat conductivity up to 0.16 W / m ∙ K, and the usual sand and cement mixture — 0.93 W / m ∙ K, so as a result you’ve got frost-resistant walls, but with lots of cold bridges. They reduce thermal insulation of walls by at least 20%. Therefore it is more rational to use a mixture with high heat-insulating properties for laying ceramic blocks or blocks of cellular concrete.

That is why De Luxe TEPLOSHOV mixture was developed with Kerwood® lightweight filler to prevent the appearance of cold bridges. Hardened masonry mortar has a low coefficient of thermal conductivity — 0,23 W / m ∙ K, which is comparable with the indicators of light blocks.

Thus, the total heat resistance of the wall is levelled. The mortar is plastic and fits easily, time of its viability is 4 hours. Good adhesion and crack resistance are also distinctive features of this mixture. De Luxe TEPLOSHOV can be laid in a thin layer of 5 mm. All together it gives significant savings in costs, leading to the positive effect on the final cost of construction.

Resistance to sudden temperature changes, vapour permeability and water-repellent qualities of De Luxe TEPLOSHOV mixture will provide a favorable microclimate in the house.

Thermal insulation qualities of the material are given by the lightweight filler — Kerwood® foamed ceramic microspheres or, in short, foamed ceramics. They provide lightweight and low thermal conductivity to the mortar. Foamed ceramic is made of environmentally friendly pure material — diatomite, which is a fossilized algae.

The filler consists of spheres with the solid and hard shell. Inside there is a structure resembling hardened foam with a lot of covered cells. This structure provides Kerwood® low density (140-450 kg / m3) and thermal conductivity (0.05-0.09 W / m∙K). At the same time, durability remains high for lightweight filling at the level of (0.7-7 MPa), which allows you to prepare the mortar of De Luxe TEPLOSHOV mixture in a mechanized way.

Summarizing three articles on heat-insulating materials of De Luxe trademark, we can say that
the series of dry mixtures based on Kerwood® foamed ceramics and used in the construction — TEPLOPOL screeds, TEPLOLUX plasters, TEPLOSHOV assembly and masonry mixtures — allow you to reduce the foundation load, additionally increase the usable area, reduce costs in the subsequent service and building heating.
